RImmel London’s Kate Moss Lasting Finish Matte Lipstick in Kiss of Life and RL’s Exaggerate Lip Liner in Red Diva
So we’ll start from the beginning…the packaging is very trendy and eye-catching. I had to try this product out on just a normal day to begin with instead of trying it out for some major event. I put the products on my bare lips without using any product beforehand. The lip liner went on so smoothly and I love that it came with an angled flat edge instead of it being really pointy and sharp. This made it easier to fill in my full lips instead of just lining the outer edges of my lips. The lipstick also went on flawlessly. (I was a bit scared of this color at first because I don’t normally wear any lipstick at all–I’m a chap sick kind of girl!) I decided to wear this out for a shopping trip to search for a Gala dress for a my Gatsby themed Nursing Gala which I attended last weekend! After shopping for a dress, I also went running with my boyfriend. Part of the reason I don’t normally care for lip products other than a lip balm, is that I’ve never had good experiences with the color lasting and not flaking off because I tend to have very dry and chapped lips. Even through my run, the color lasted and did not flake. I ultimately decided to try my bold new red lipped look at the Gatsby Gala. It was a blast, and my color lasted all night long!
